Engine Break-in attachment

Engine Break-in attachment

If you, like me, failed to attach the crankshaft perfectly, there's a good chance you'll encounter excessive resistance when turning it - no way a small DC motor can handle it. This attachment lets you break in the engine using a drill. All you need to do is attach a drill and give it a 30-second to one-minute run. The PLA parts will heat up quickly, smoothing out all friction points (you'll know it's happening when you start smelling an unpleasant odor). Keep in mind that you'll have to be able to turn the crankshaft by hand to apply this mod. The hex end is created by heating a 12mm nut bit set and pressing it in. Having fun with 3D printing.
