The wall piece does a little more than half of a circle, not much, but enough for a smooth fit. But it's very smooth, almost too smooth, so you can be sure that if you put it on double-sided tape, it won't come off, and no part will break. Materials: The wall piece recommends using the BOUN filament from Smart Material or the Sakata X-920, both are soft materials, but with a 2mm thick wall, they're rigid enough to hold their shape, yet still flexible. It's like eraser rubber, it's the same thing - you can't bend it too much, but it's still soft. If these materials aren't available, semi-rigid materials like TPU can be used if made solid (It doesn't take up much material).
