It's essential to attach the door to the wall effortlessly. The wall piece forms a bit more than half of a circle, but not too much - just enough for it to slide in smoothly, very smoothly, barely making any sound as you do so. By doing this, you can be certain that if you put double-sided tape on it, it won't come off easily, and no part will break. Materials: The wall piece I recommend using is the BOUN filament from Smart Material or Sakata X-920 - they're soft materials, but with 2mm of thickness, they're rigid enough for the piece to be firm, yet squishy like an eraser. You can't bend it much, but it's soft. This way, the piece won't break. If you don't have these materials, you can use semi-rigid materials, even TPU if you make it solid (It doesn't take up a lot of material). The door piece can be made with whatever you want - PLA or other materials.
