A sophisticated three-dimensional model of an engagement ring features a white or yellow gold base that supports two variations in main gemstone size. This detailed STL mesh comprises a substantial 290,750 points and an impressive 582,188 triangles. In Maya, the low-poly model is constructed from 25,614 polygons and 19,556 vertices. A central diamond variation exists, with both round shapes offering unique attributes. A 1-carat round diamond boasts dimensions of 6.5 x 6.5 millimeters, while its 2-carat counterpart measures 8 x 8 millimeters. The rings also incorporate smaller rounded diamonds: ring one comprises 132 pieces (0.53 carats) with dimensions of 1.0 x 1.0 millimeter, and ring two consists of 138 pieces (0.55 carats), matching the same dimension. This intricately crafted model weighs approximately 14-carat gold and tips the scales at around 5.3 grams. Designed in STL format for rapid prototyping, the model is primed and ready to be put through its paces on CNC machinery and 3D printing. Using RP Magics software, all imperfections have been rectified and geometry has been thoroughly optimized (*.mgx file included).
