You can attach a microswitch to either your SeeMeCNC plastic or TrickLaser metal effector using this. I've used this for some time, and my top suggestion is that you consider using a Z-Probe I've designed elsewhere because it incorporates a magnetic switch as opposed to a physical one. This switch stays reliable with zero wear and tear over extended periods of use due to its clever design. Conversely, a physical endstop switch may gradually experience bending as it touches the print surface more frequently than not. However, for people who infrequently calibrate their printer, this might be entirely inconsequential.
