Endstop clamp on RollerMount for MPCNC 525
thingiverse
Hi guys, I created a clamp specifically designed for max enstops because I wanted to minimize clutter around my worktable and utilize the traversal conduit for cable management effectively. To attach the push endstop on the conduit, you'll need another piece that can be printed with either the same screw or a slightly longer one. Please print two pieces of this design: one will serve as the original, while the other needs to be mirrored to fit perfectly on the opposite side of my motor mount. For pushing the endstop switches into place, I highly recommend using the conduit clamp found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1330490 - both the US Short and Long versions work great for either placing the switch under or on top of my clamp. Special thanks go to cmidgley for their assistance in this project! Print Settings: Printer: TronXY Supports: None Resolution: 0.4mm Infill: 50% Designing This Project: I used Blender as my design software, starting with a subtraction of the original Rollermount model and adding a cube to create the necessary holes. Overview and Background: To attach this clamp on my Roller Mount, I first ensured it securely fits onto the screw. Next, I connected cables from the conduit and added another piece to push the endstop into place. Lesson Plan and Activity: In the near future, I'll be creating a design for the missing piece needed to push the endstop into position.
