The Ender 7 is an amazing printer with its flaws.Z motion is crap due to the plastic wheels and upside down turned anti back lash screw. This is a rebuild of the Z motion with cheap linear bearings. Super sturdy.A router that is able to cut aluminum is needed.Parts:Take off and turn the back lash nut 180 degree and reuse it on the screw 2 x 400 mm MGN12 linear bearings (cheap on amazon for example)1 x high quality micro switch with the steel pivot still in place for higher accuracy A lot of M3 x 8 for the linear rods and its T-slots6 x M3 10 or 12 for the ange to the base connection (manual tapped) 6 x M3 x 8 for the original ender print bed bracket2 x Angles in 5 mm aluminum 1 x Base in 5 mm aluminum1 x M3 x 20 to 25 mm with a nut for the Z-leveling micro switchAssemble:Align one of the linear rods and measure it to be as strait at is possible could beFasten the screws tightlyMount the base and the second linear rod with loose screws Secure the base plate screws tightlySlide the baseplate with the carriers up and down and slightly tighten the 2nd rodSecure the 2nd rod screws gently all the way and tight them up until the rods are parallelSecure all screwsMake sure the Z motion is smooth, if not redo the 2nd rod alignmentAngle to the Z-screw (made by hand) Use your common sense but make sure its centered over the Z-motor axis.Tap a M3 hole for the microswitch screw in the base aligned under the microswitch.Make gcode that suites your router for the angle and base in fusion360An easy fix if you are use to make stuff👍 (about 4h work)EDIT:If wanting to flash the ender 7 to Klipper I attach my klipper.bin file. Also, I attach the printer.cfg file that worked for my stock ender 7.More about the klipper firmware: https://www.klipper3d.org/Installation.html(The rabbit picture is printed with old hobby king PETG filament)
