Ender6 NF Sunrise Fan Duct (v3)
thingiverse
This a fan duct Ive been working on for the NF Sunrise extruder for my Ender6. Included: 1. Duct1 - Fan duct, I recommend printing air holes facing upward so you wont have any support structure to worry about within the tubes. 2. Duct2 Minimal - Fan mounting bracket, so far Ive printed this with "fan mounting" plate facing down, and just sanded any roughness from supports. 3. Duct2 - Since I'm apparently addicted to hexes, i did a totally unnecessary version with hex meshes. (removing supports from this one sucks a bit more. :) ) 4. Strain Relief - a new strain relief bracket that has an arm where you can lightly zip the bowden tube and keep it from bending a bit more at top of extruder. For mine, I printed all parts solid with no infill, but not necessary. Parts needed. 1 - 5015 24v fan 2 - 12mm m3/m4 screws nuts (attaches duct to fan housing part) 1 - 30mm m3 screw/nut (to secure fan in housing) 2 - 12mm m3 screws to attach to NF sunrise housing (Would recommend washers to distribute force, if you over-tighten screws in slots it may crack along layer lines). Strain relief arm mounts with: 2 - 20mm m3 screws Pardon the mess of wires on the pictures, I have been using and revising this for several months, I do have future revisions planned. (Screws can be at slightly odd angles when locking down to NF housing, but not THAT hard with a ball end wrench. planning on removing unnecessary areas, and maybe strengthening in other areas, etc.)
