Ender6 Filament Relocation
thingiverse
I saw someone placed a Sunlu filament dryer box inside the Ender 6 and that lighted the little light bulb in my head. Printed the T.U.S.H. from thingiverse and then drawn up the filament guide bracket and filament sensor relocation / extender plate (to relocate the filament sensor inside the Ender 6 enclosure as well) The filament guide will need 2 T-nut screws to mount onto the back profile of the printer, and a length of ptfe tube (from my now discarded bowden setup). The ptfe tube about 150mm is sufficient. The filament sensor mounting plate will also need a couple of extra bolts & nuts (I think I used some M5 ones, can't remember) to fasten the original sensor metal bracket to the plate. The plate mounts to the existing mounting point of the filament sensor in the Ender 6 using the original hardware. Note that I created this setup to work with my Ender 6 which is using a BMG type direct drive extruder setup. Obviously if your extruder is still in the stock position, my design is meaningless to you. But if your extruder had been relocated to the top back position of the printer, this setup might work for you too. I don't know. You have to try it out yourself. But I can see it can work.
