Ender3 V2 filament guide + spool holder
thingiverse
I had extrusion problems that made me babysit my first many prints, i eventually realised that this was caused by the original filament holder of the ender3 V2, since it had a tiny bit of resistance when turning the spool, i resolved this issue by designing a holder using bearings instead, then i learned that the angle of attack from the filament wire was very steep entering the extruder, this issue was resolved using guides. Guide (Included in download): When printed, press the bearing mounts onto the bearings(it should be a snug fit), make sure it has the flat sides facing out. Then take 'filament guide 1' and press fit it onto the Z-Motor mount as shown in the picture, put the filament wire into it and carefully force the bearing with mounts into the guide and thats the first filament guide done. Now take 'filament guide 2' and place ontop of the upper structural coloumn as shown i the picture, and screw it in place. Now carefully force the first bearing with mounts, into the lower bearing position, lay the filament wire ontop of it, and the mount the next mounted bearing it should now look as shown in the picture. finally mount three naked bearings onto the bearing poles/holders(the mount of theese should be pretty obvious) you might need to do a small amount of filing/trimming as these mounting poles/holders are very tight. now screw the whole holder onto the upper structural coloumn as shown in the picture(you might need to file the inner corners of the mount sharp, since they have a tendency to get printed rounded).
