I added a supplemental part to this spool holder: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3646853. My filament spools have protrusions and bumps that cause snags when those protrusions pass over the bearings. To prevent this issue, I created a tube that fits over the spool holder and wraps around the bearings. This design ensures that protrusions don't catch on the bearings, providing a snag-free experience.
