I designed this as an add on to Hero Me Gen4 remix 4010 fan by Adrim66 to gain better visibility to the filament as it is extruded. I always have to bend over very far to make sure that the filament is adhering to the bed, and to check the quality of the print.Adding the LED does help to a certain extent. After implementing Hero Me Gen4 remix 4010, I still have to bend over to see because the silicon boot around the hot end is in the way. But visibility is improved somewhat. You can get the LED and switch much cheaper by buying two small flashlights from dollar tree as shown in the pictures. The original flashlight generates 60 lumens. I measured a current of 200 ma, which I thought would be too bright so I added a series resistor. I used a current meter to adjust the current down to 50ma which required a 360 ohm 1/2 watt resistor. Use a smaller resistor for a brighter image. At 60 lumens current was 200ma. The LED has a drop of 3.2 V and the USB supplies 5.0V so there is a 1.8V drop across the resistor.I used a standard USB adapter and cut the connector off USB cable for wiring. After printing the Fan shroud, I used a drill press to drill a hole through the shroud to feed the USB cable. I would recommend modifying the original fan shroud and add a pass through tunnelYou might also want to make the LED holder itself a little longer. I didn't want it too low and be in the way, but a lot of the light is reflecting off the hot end's silicone boot.As the original author notes using the original 4010 fan and nozzle is adequate. I performed a fan shroud torture text. As seen in the pictures the before on the left and after results on the right are about the same. For modifications, the design is called "Hero Me G4 LED Holder" in TinkerCad and can be found athttps://www.tinkercad.com/things/ku3GMk6rnUc-hero-me-g4-led-holder
