Ender3 external electronics case
thingiverse
A custom case to house all Ender3 electronics separately from the printer. There is space in the box for a shelf to hold a raspberry pi (coming soon) The entire model is designed to be printed fairly easily in 2 prints. All models have one orientation that requires minimum supports and most walls are a multiple of 0.2 Also ease of assembly was a factor. The pieces fit together using tongue and groove joints which can be glued to make the model more sturdy. Only 3 M2 5x6 screws are needed to secure the backplate. Alternatively you can ommit the backplate entirely and use the support material of the back hole which at 10-20% line infill should be stiff enough and the screw hole supports that will be embedded to the rest, are the perfect size to act as pins
