UPDATE: 24/4/21: I will no longer be updating this design as I will focus more on Gen 3 design and a fan duct system that can be used for both bowden and direct drive system. The STEP file is included for anyone who wants to remix it. thank you all. UPDATE 18 Dec 2020: I have tested the bed leveling bracket with Antclab BL Touch v3.1. No issues in terms of clearance height. Clone version from TriangleLab (from Aliexpress) works too. UPDATE 13 Dec 2020: offset update to Offset is X=+31 Y=-8. I designed a fan duct that can be used on the Ender 3 as well as Ender 5 with stock hotend. I set out a few criteria; 1. Must use a single 5015 radial fan for part cooling and 4010 axial fan for heatsink cooling. 2. The air duct can be slide out for easy replacement. 3. Use existing stock screws as much as possible. 4. Must weight under 20gm. 5. Fairly easy to print and use as little support as possible. 6. Able to fit a bl touch (even though I only use Manual Mesh Bed Leveling) This design has the 5015 fan on the left. Air duct is roughly 2mm above the nozzle line, and 18 degree tilt downwards. The air blows just below the tip of the nozzle and towards the right-rear of the printer. This prevents any stray filament string from getting to the controller fan (for Ender-3). The 5015 fan will require a M4x20 + nut to secure it to the body. If not available, a cable tie can also work. The air duct is design to fit very snug. If you have problem installing it, Just a sand the sides edges and it should fit in with a click. You can also print the it in petg or ABS for better heat resistance, I am using PLA and so far no issues as long as I have the silicon sock on the heat block. The main body uses the existing 2 of M3 hex screw. The hotend have to be remove to fit the body, The heater cartridge and thermistor also need to be taken out. You have to screw the body onto the carriage, then insert the hotend from under the body. the heater cartridge and thermistor is put through from the top of the body to secure to the hotend before screwing it back to the carriage. This is the only tedious part. The BL touch bracket is also design to be snug fitting. it is lock into place with a single M3x6 + nut or M3x4 screw. You can use one of the screw that holds down the controller board (4 screws for such a small controller board is overkill). I have tried the Antclab BL touch to do an actual test. Offset is X=+31 Y=-8 Z=-1.72. Printing is done on Cura 4.6.2 with Tree Support function. See image for the Support Settings All items should be printed as oriented on the STL files. Note: Will upload picture of actual setup once my printing finishes tomorrow
