Ender3 DTI mount - Bed calibration - Version 2
thingiverse
This is a DTI mount specifically designed for my Ender3 printer, utilizing a Dial Test Indicator. It works remarkably well for precise bed levelling operations, allowing me to fine tune the bed to an exceptionally high level of accuracy. Compared to previous versions, this updated mount positions the DTI in line with both the Y-Axis and the print head, providing easier access to the critical bed mount bolt centers. This design also proves invaluable when visualizing undulations on the bed surface. Key features include a mounting pin with an 8mm diameter, paired with a M3 bolt pressure strap that securely holds the DTI in place against the print head. In my particular setup, I've positioned the DTI just over 22mm ahead of the print head, significantly closer than other versions I've encountered. Files included cover both standard and build raft configurations, with options for printing either without a raft or with a 0.2mm thick raft.
