Ender3/CR10 direct drive / Banta mount remix (stock extruder).

This is a version of the famous Banta Mount cooling designed by Jeff Broderick, who created an excellent minimalist cooling that looks very stylish. (The rest can be found on http://bantam.design) The base was drawn from scratch - now you can use the original extruder and Nema motor to build direct drive in combination with e3d hotend. The distance between the extruder and the hotend has been minimized, meaning it no longer requires a ptfe tube if you don't want one. I highly recommend using one, though, as it will protect the extruder's plastic elements against wear. You can use the Nema motor 42-40 - it will fit fine without hitting the Z axis frame. However, I suggest replacing the 42-40 motor with a smaller 42-35 from the Y axis - it is lighter and more compact yet still powerful enough. Also tested with the 42-23 (pancake) motor and it handled printing just as well. Nevertheless, its temperature is much higher than that of the 42-35. There are many similar modifications available, but I wanted to make the most of BantaMount's previously printed elements while also hiding the engine in the back of the cooling for comfort and a slim look. I recommend turning the hotend so the heater is at the back - this will give you a better view of the nozzle. I encourage you to try out Banta Mount - it's really good-looking cooling.
