I've chosen to construct a printer case. The entire enclosure consists of two tables from IKEA's Lack series as a Prusa cover and four plexiglass panels. Ordered parts include 2 IKEA Lack tables, 4 plexiglass sheets (445x800mm) with a thickness of 3mm, 2 aluminum tubes (diameter 30mm-500mm), various screws, and a 10-second adhesive. The reason for this build is to reduce noise levels, eliminate dust accumulation, protect the filaments from humidity, and enable easier placement of the extruder on top. This also results in a lighter Z-axis assembly. Printing details include a duration of 42 hours and the use of 385 grams of PLA material. Settings used during printing include: Hinge_L/R - infill at 20% with a layer height of 0.2mm, Corner_L/R - infill at 20% with a layer height of 0.2mm, Rail - infill at 30% with a layer height of 0.15mm, and Table_connector - infill at 20% with a layer height of 0.2mm. Future additions to the printer case will include a power supply holder, LED strip, smoke detector, thermometer, and LCD panel.
