I made a spool holder mod and used this building block to start with. The intent of this thing is for helping you make anything that you'd like to mount things to the top rail of your printer. You can lengthen it and design a carry handle, make a scraper holder, etc, Feel free to remix and share your ideas. I made this in tinkercad, so you can upload this and modify, or turn it into a 'hole' instead of a solid to cut another object. Just thought it might help someone since they're weren't any basic building blocks to start with.
