I just acquired a 3D printer and I've noticed that the extruder is positioned too far from the drive unit. To rectify this issue, I've fabricated a custom plate to move the extruder directly onto the drive. I haven't utilized any new materials in my Ender 5, but now the extruder cable falls short of the required length and it's essential to extend it by inserting an extender.
