The last two Ender 3's I've bought came with the straight spool holder bracket, and it puts the filament into a little bind. This object that I drew tilts the factory bracket out 45 degrees and helps quite a bit. It's way simpler than the other designs out there. You don't need any additional hardware. It simply slips onto the top rail after you bolt your bracket to it with the oem t-nuts. I use prusaslicer which lets you add modifiers to the object, so I printed it with 10% Infill but beefed the thin areas up to 80%. Save a lot of time that way! The first one i printed pretty thin, it was squishy but it is working fine. I used PETG on these since they're above a heat source. I did not try in PLA+ but if that's your flavor I'd suggest giving it at least 3 perimeters and plenty of infill. I'm also going to upload the basic building block to slip fit the 20x20 extrusion, (i made a test file to make sure it slipped on properly before printing the large item) and you can use that to make your own designs such as handles or anything else you may want to mount to the top rail without hardware.
