Ender Maker Coin
prusaprinters

I am a member of a couple of Facebook groups related to 3D printing on the Ender 3 printer. A few days ago, someone mentioned making a maker coin for the group, so this is my crack at it.

I have several versions attached. The EnderMakerCoin.stl is the coin for my group, featuring the Creality Ender logo on the front and the words 'Errando Discimus' as well as the word MAKER on the back. The phrase is Latin for 'We learn from our mistakes', which is so true of getting to learn how to 3D print.

I also have included a version with a totally blank back side, as well as one with the Latin phrase and enough room to add your own name or maker tag. Lastly is my own coin, with my Thingiverse username.

The STL files can easily be opened in 3D Builder software available free from the Microsoft Store so you can emboss your own name. There are pretty good instructions for doing so located here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dBiETNLXvU

Enjoy and I would love to see any that you customize and make your own.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3 Pro

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

Doesn't Matter

Resolution:

200

Infill:

20

Filament: lllDMAX PLA+ PLA various

Notes:

I have tried printing this laying flat and standing upright with supports. The words on the back come through much more cleanly when printing vertically. I haven't tried a raft yet, but that may help if printing horizonally.

Category: Other
