##Filament Rounout Sensor for Ender and Filament-Inserting-Help This sensor boasts significantly reduced friction compared to standard parts. Engineered from TPU, a flexible filament that can detect even transparent materials, it excels in its ability to identify everything with precision. The sensor's design ensures no interference with filament despoiling or extruder friction. Mounting the sensor directly on the intake hole of the extruder simplifies the process of inserting filament into the extruder. This innovative approach makes handling filament a breeze. The feed-in section is now covered, making it less susceptible to mechanical issues. The edge on the bottom is screwable, preventing support printing and reducing surface roughness. This new model can handle ABS and ASA filaments, but requires reworking the winding for the edge/nose after printing using a M6 metric toolset. ##For Assembly You Will Need: 1x Bearing Ball MR63ZZ 3x6x2.5mm (available on Amazon or other online retailers) 1x Mikroswitch: 20x6x10mm with Roller on 18mm arm (also available on Amazon or other online retailers) You can find a full list of required materials and sources on my homepage at https://www.mostfun.de. This part was designed using Fusion 360, so feel free to modify it for compatibility with your printer or to enhance its performance.
