Designed for fast printing without supports, frictionless spooling, and no unwinding on its own like spool mounts that go through the center of the spool. Needs 4 x 608 bearings, the bearing covers screw onto the threads. It's a tight fit by design. You can print the base twice, or mirror it to have left and right sides.
