Ender & CR10 Filament Extruder Block with Threaded Coupler and Nut

Ender & CR10 Filament Extruder Block with Threaded Coupler and Nut

The original coupler that came with my Ender 3 was faulty right out of the box. The additional one I got with the printer only managed a few prints before it couldn't hold onto the PTFE tube anymore. I discovered this brilliant printable coupler, but the threads were incredibly weak and snapped as soon as I tried to thread it into the extruder block. Therefore, I created this remix. With this new block, there's no need to purchase separate couplers. Simply tighten it with a wrench and the PTFE tube will stay put for good. An added benefit is that this block works perfectly with flexible filament. I trimmed my PTFE tube slightly and pushed it through to get it closer to the gear and bearing. I've been printing for several months now without any issues, including multiple 10+ hour prints and a few consecutive 20 hour prints. Enjoy your prints and share your creations!
