Full credit goes to Shinzuriki for the original designs available at Thingiverse, specifically at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3270228 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3264177. Taking these original designs as a starting point, several modifications have been made to improve functionality and usability. **X Frame:** The front side of the frame has been notched to allow for an extra 1cm of clearance when installing the hot end assembly. This modification enables users to access almost the entire build area without compromising the structural integrity of the frame. However, users will still need to remove or adjust the plastic dressing fitted to the gantry from the factory. **Y Frame:** Similar to the X frame, the Y frame's top has been notched to accommodate an additional 3cm of movement for the heat bed carriage. This should allow for the full use of the factory heat surface in the Y axis without compromising the strength of the frame. **X/Y Bolt:** The ends of the bolt nearest the printer have been rounded over to reduce tension and prevent belt slippage. Additionally, a 0.5mm high lip has been added around the bolt hole to prevent it from grabbing the bearing when tightened too tightly. The original maker's logo has been removed for clarity. **X/Y Nut:** This component remains unchanged from its original design as it functions perfectly without any modifications. These modifications should not impact usability on an Ender-3 printer in any way. To facilitate easy installation, two 5mm Allen Key designs are included. One is optimized for printing with layers running up the hex part, while the other has layers across. These keys can be used to install new bolts into the modified frames but may not be suitable for removing them from factory fittings. An update was made on June 24, 2019, further rounding over the bolt ends to provide an additional 1-2mm of clearance and minimize tension.
