Ender 7 Part Cooling Fan Duct Mod for BondTech CHT Nozzle
thingiverse
If you download this PLEASE make sure to re-seat your bowden tube as the BondTech CHT nozzle is shorter than the standard Ender 7 one so needs pushing down that little bit further. Also if you print this part on an Ender 7 at its stock settings bring the speed down to 50% to make sure the dimensions don't get messed up, it is a small part after all! After watching CNC kitchen's videos on the Bontech CHT nozzle, link below... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNJdv5bFGOg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWDErj-pE1c I knew I had to try this with the Ender 7 to up the flow rate without worrying about clogging. Upon the nozzles arrival I found it to be much shorter than the Ender 7 version so modifications were needed. I cut the silicone sock shorter and made these shorter fan ducts to direct the air where it is needed. I'm not a designer so the model isn't the greatest with the hallowed out inside looking a bit weird (stepping at some points rather than smooth) but it works and re-directs the air where it is needed. With the nozzle now being much closer to the heat block it does make it even more of a challenge when levelling but that was already a pain with the Ender 7 so what is a little more challenge? :) Understand this is a pretty niche use application but hopefully someone gets some use out of it in the future.
