Ender 7 Manta M4P MountingPlate
thingiverse
Hi, I designed this Controller Mounting Plate for a Creality Ender 7. I didn`t like the original controller board, that creality puts in the Ender 7 with the split up driver boards for X and Y motors. So I bought a Manta M4P Controller Board as a complete set with TMC 2209 drivers, a CB1 with a heatsink and the new TFT SPI Display. (Display mounting brackets and a filler plate can be found in my other files.) The mounting plate just carries the M4P and the original board cooling fan. All screws, besides the 4 mounting screws, are designed as screw-in-plastic. No need for additional nuts. You can use the original 4mm screws, which hold the original driver boards, as screws for the M4P. Use the original 6mm screws, which hold the original controller board, for this mounting plate. Use the original fan screws for the cooling fan. No additional parts or screws required. The original cabletree is completely useable as well. The only thing to modify is the red labeled FAN port. Take out the ground wire in the plug and put it in the free spot of the z axis endstop plug. In klipper you can set up the 4020 radial fan as a "controller_fan" which enables the option to be only active, when a stepper motor or a heater is active. Thats all, have fun! :)
