Ender 6 Y-Axis Linear Rail Mod
thingiverse
I loved ErNeSt93's design for this mod but felt it needed a little redesign to make it sturdier and to add the ability to fine tune the gap between the two rails if needed. Tertullidan's remix added both these features but I wanted to create something that would use the original mounting holes on the metal bracket. For best results print upside down with supports. You need to print one version of each file. To be used with 350mm MGN12H linear sliding guide rails. You will need M3 drop in T-nuts and M3x8 cap head screws to fix your rails to the printer frame. Then you will need two M4x30 cap head screws and four M3x8 cap head screws per bracket to fix to the bearing block and extrusion. I also bought some M3 rubber washers to put between the bearing block and these brackets just to try and reduce any vibration that may transfer through to the hot end.
