Ender 6 Cable Conduit Brackets
thingiverse
Ender 6 - Cable Conduit Brackets The provided brackets that hold the cable conduit in place are too small and crimp the conduit when attempting to put them in place. To overcome this, I looked at other designs; unfortunately, they did not meet my need. As a result, I attempted to design my own. After 2 different design approaches, I settled on this one and it has worked well for my build. Some thoughts that went into the design: * Center of mass, I initially did not design a bracket with this in mind and found that it may have led to some unwanted artifacts. I did not test this enough to be sure of the assumption. * Position of Bowden tube guide directly above the Bowden connector. Initially, I had this slightly off center and the filament jammed a lot easier. * Hanging the bracket over the metal frame for additional ease of positioning and reducing any play. * Use the same bolt/fastener positioning as the original brackets, as well as the same bolts/fasteners. * Add a lip in the 16mm bracket conduit holder to allow the conduit to clip in and rotate freely on both ends of the conduit. Hopefully further reduces any forces that could play against the motors. * Easily removable on hotend side of the conduit.
