Ender 6 Cable Chain / R18 Drag Chain Bed Mount

My wire would keep snagging when the bed moved, so I created this cable chain mount. I was able to install the R18 version without having to extend my wires, but YMMV. I highly recommend the R18 version over the 3D printed one. More Ender 6 models at https://www.thingiverse.com/vampyrex13/collections/my-ender-6-models. Versions ----------- • The regular chain mount version is compatible with diogosantos88's cable chain links at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3715002. I have included the original models in this listing. • The R18 chain mount version uses a pre-made R18 10x20mm drag chain. I have added a link to it at the bottom. Hardware ------------- Regular Cable Chain Bed Mount: • (2) M3x8mm socket cap screws • (2) M3 t-nuts Regular Cable Chain Frame Mount: • (2) M3x8mm (or reuse existing) R18 Cable Chain Bed Mount: • (3) M3x6mm socket cap screws • (2) M3x8mm socket cap screws • (3) M3 nuts • (2) M3 t-nuts R18 Cable Chain Frame Mount: • (3) M3x6mm socket cap screws • (2) M3x8mm (or reuse existing) • (3) M3 nuts Installation Notes ----------------------- • The ends on the R18 drag chain will need to be flipped around. • Attach the chain to the bed mount first. Move the bed to the highest position before attaching the other end of the chain to the frame mount to make sure the wire will reach. • You may need to pull any slack wire out from underneath or even lengthen them. I was fortunate and didn't have to do either. • Secure the wires at the bed with a zip tie. Printing Notes -------------- • If using the regular chain mount version, you will need print 30 links.
