I replace the Meanwell PSU 500w in my Ender 5 Plus with a new one, but the small build-in PSU fan is too loud, so I decide to swap it out for something quieter. The issue is that the internal fan in this PSU is very efficient and nothing of comparable size (40mm) can even come close to matching its performance. To silence my printer, I install a 60mm Noctua fan inside the central unit. A custom-designed duct is necessary to house the new fan, which marks the third iteration of modifications made within my printer's framework so far. So far, temperature levels have not presented any issues. The previous silent board (version 2.2.1) was installed, but noise levels still reached 48dbm; now they remain below 34dbm, primarily originating from the heat blower, which is next on my list to replace.
