After the installation of linear rails on my ender 5, the y-axis belt fixation on the gantry sits a lot higher above the 2020 profile. Because of this, the tension becomes higher when approaching the sides of the bed because the gantry gets more pulled down. This even caused my y-axis motor to go haywire due to the lack of torque. (I currently run my motors at very low current due to heat problems) So I made this spacer to lower the belts on the gantry so their path is a lot more straight. Extremely easy to design yourself, but I'd thought I'd share it here anyway because it took a while for me to figure out why my Y-axis was not as smooth as i'd like and it might help others No screws needed. Everything is kept in place by the belt tension. ! your belts will need to be longer, I cut new belts about 8mm longer to account for the length increase due to the belt path being longer ! I used crimp pliers for electric stranded wire as endstops on the belt
