Ender 5 X and Y Axis Endstop re-orientation
thingiverse
WARNING! Relocating endstops for X- and Y-Axis on Creality3D Ender 5 requires extreme caution to avoid damaging your printer. DO NOT, under any circumstances, use auto home until you've completed this process correctly. First, disable steppers or turn off the printer. Then, slowly move the carriage/gantry by hand, avoiding sudden movements that could generate excessive current and damage your mainboard. Once satisfactory, turn on the printer and use the menu to move the axes in 1mm increments while carefully listening for the switch click. This confirms proper activation. Only after both switches activate properly should you use auto home. Validate the X-carriage position, ensuring it rests at the edge of the bed or slightly centered, never protruding outward. REMEMBER: USE WITH EXTREME CAUTION AND AT YOUR OWN RISK. Though this method works beautifully for me, it's no guarantee of success and I accept NO responsibility.
