Ender 5+ tool Holder
thingiverse
The original holder was much too small for all my printer tools. This is used on the front right (or left) of my Ender 5+, but it will fit any 40mm extrusion. The model can be mirrored in your slicer to put the rear wing on whichever side you like. It will clear the bed in any orientation. I added three micro card holders that are progressive stepped depths. I pulled the spatula holder away from the the extrusion an additional 15mm, then tapered and ramped the front and rear edges of the slot so you can just drop it in and not have to fiddle. I added an xacto holder, a caliper slot and I extended the wings on both sides for added storage. Added a glue stick holder, flashlight holder, Sharpie holder, pen holder, zip tie holder, moved the tip and wheel wrench slots, and extended the hanger arm so it can hold two cutters or cutters and pliers. it is a snap over bracket that holds tight. Install one side at a time and press the other on firmly till it snaps or clicks into place. If you really load it up you may notice it wanting to slide down. I found a zip-tie wedged between the clamp and extrusion from under the front solved this well. its a basic block print so 15-25% infill should be fine. print rough if you want but to retain tolerances I would stick with .20. I sure hope you like it!
