Ender 5 Storage

Ender 5 Storage

This is a custom storage solution I designed after relocating the control box to the rear of my Ender 5. By moving the control box, I freed up space below the build plate. This design takes advantage of that space to store anything you want. The design I used to relocate the control box can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3939592 In building this model, I aimed to minimize the number of parts needed for assembly. Therefore, there are two files - one for the left and one for the right. Once printed, clean up the holes and edges, then push the left and right pieces together where the floors overlap. Secure the middle seam using M3 and M4/M5 screws, and some type of bonding agent if desired. After combining the two pieces, use the six screws that previously secured the control box to affix the model in the empty space. Recommendations and feedback are most welcome. I am currently working on an iteration that reduces print time by using thinner floors and walls. I will upload it here once complete.
