Automatic power off mechanism for Creality Ender 5. Video: https://youtu.be/zTSPL-e-DSQ It consists of two simple parts joined together. When the bed lowers enough, the back side of the piece slides and the front side presses the power switch to shutdown the printer. This happens at 295mm of Z position. The extension makes contact with the metal part under the bed and not the adjustment wheels! In the slicer software, machine settings, the last two commands of the end G-code must be: _______________________________________________ G4 S180 ;Wait 180 secs for the nozzle to cooldown G0 Z295 ;Move the bed to Z=295mm and turn off the printer _______________________________________________ Note: You have to rotate the base piece so it can fit on the bed.
