This is a redesign that moves the stock extruder closer to the hot end. With this redesign, I was able to shorten the Bowden tube by about 6.0 inches and it helped with stringing significantly and performs flawlessly now. The original filament spool holder had to be angled towards the back to line up properly and I had to rotate the printer every time I swapped out the filament, so I redesigned this to eliminate the post altogether. Now, the spool simply sits on two rollers, which allows it to move more freely without unwinding and enables better alignment of the filament with the extruder assembly. To further improve this setup, I designed an arm with two guide rollers that helps prevent power residue from building up when the filament drags across the entrance hole in the extruder, and so far, this solution seems to be working exceptionally well.
