Ender 5 Printermods MDD E3D V6 with Titan Extruder direct drive HeroMe Gen2 compatible mount

Please note that I had two heatclog incidents with this setup - one at a highly detailed moon model, which was 3 days long, heatclog occurred after the 2nd day. The other heatclog happened halfway through a 12h long lithophane (at 30mm/s). Both clogs were caused by using 205C PLA, 4010 hotend fan, closed but otherwise unheated enclosure, and 1mm retraction. Since then, I opened the enclosure for ventilation, lowered the PLA temperature to 200C, reduced the retraction to 0.8mm, replaced the PTFE between the V6 and Titan with Capricorn, and successfully completed many prints - some of which were 12h-13h lithophanes and a 2D 8h moon print, without any clogs so far. However, I still believe that the design could be improved. When I disassembled the whole setup after the heatclog incident, I noticed that the very bottom fins of the heatsink on the V6 are beneath the HeroMe cooling duct. I think the thermals would be much better if the Hero Me cooling duct reached the lower heatsink fin as well. This is something I want to improve in the future, but upon request, I wanted to post the current state. Please use this model at your own risk with the above in mind and don't leave long prints unattended. This model has been tested with the following configuration: - Ender 5 - E3D V6 hotend - E3D Titan extruder in direct drive - Linear rails with Printermods MDD conversion kit - Printermods MDD hotend carriage plate - Creality stock 4010 hotend cooling fan - Single 5015 part cooling fan - Genuine BL Touch It should be compatible with other Gen 2 Hero Me components, like other cooling ducts or ABL mounts, but that's something I haven't tested. Your mileage may vary. For me, after assembly, the X endstop was out of reach for the hotend carriage plate, so I included a mount for it too - T nut required. You might not need it if you don't use linear rails. This posting doesn't include the part cooling fan duct and ABL mount. You can source that from the Hero Me Gen 2 posting by the original author.
