Ender 5-Plus Z-Axis Endstop
thingiverse
This is a remix of the Ender 3 Z-axis endstop to use on the Ender 5-plus. The area that holds the endstop board is basically the same, but enlarged and reshaped slightly to fit the endstop boards I have. It was also changed to use M3 heat set inserts instead of captive nuts and to move the bolt holes for mounting the endstop to the sides with an adjustable slot. However, the original design it's based on gave a great starting point. I created these because I want to have a real hard-limit endstop for the Z-axis instead of only the BLTouch sensor. Otherwise, you're mixing basic mechanical alignment problems into the bed-leveling. With two of these endstops, one on each side, you can run the Z-axis motors independently and get the mechanical system aligned first and then worry about leveling the bed after you know the two sides of the printer aren't skewed.
