The best DD mod and Linear rail conversion mod smashed together. Difference for Y_axis from original post is that it allows X axis beam to sit 1mm lower. Plus, now there are 2 M4 nuts required for each Y_Block to fix reliably. For Y axis you'll need 4 - M4x15 bolts (with nuts) and 8 - M3x10 to fix to linear rail block. For X axis you'll need 3 - M4x10 (with nuts) to fix to stock Ender 5 metal plate. 4 - M3x10 to fix to linear rail block. For this mod I used 3 - 450mm linear rails with MGN12 block. X_Carriage MGN12_Block.stl - to be printed in PETG because extruder will get hot and warp it if printed in PLA.
