Ender 5 Plus Simple Split Fan Duct with BL Touch
thingiverse
This is a Custom Build I aimed to preserve the stock hot end as much as possible. My goal for this build was to tackle issues I encountered: 1. It didn't accommodate the stock BL Touch bracket that attaches behind the fan assembly. 2. No cable protection was provided for the hot end wires. 3. The original design used push-in nodes to secure the 5015 fan. I added a spacer to eliminate vibration and included through holes for bolted-on mounting. 4. An access hole was created for tools to reach the upper screw attaching the fan base to the gantry plate, located below the left fan screw hole. This opening is narrow but any larger would compromise airflow. You can still use the original screws that came with your Ender 5 plus. *Both Fan arm and strain relief were bonded to the fan base using epoxy.
