Ender 5 Plus Riser
thingiverse
Riser legs/feet for my Ender 5 Plus are designed to work seamlessly without any modifications to the printer. They incorporate a 2020 extrusion keyway that locks into place within the E5+ frame, and a recessed hole at the bottom allows for easy use of original factory rubber feet screws, washers, and mounting locations. The allen wrenches provided with the printer are long enough to install the screws with this riser. The exact dimensions of these riser legs/feet are 30mm x 30mm x 86.3mm. They provide a sturdy base for your printer, even when printing in PLA and moving it around on a surface. I have been pleasantly surprised by their strength over several months of use, enduring all the usual movements that come with working on a printer. These riser legs/feet are designed to offer vertical clearance, allowing you to relocate the E5+ control box completely underneath the printer and clear the way for the floor panel of a frame-based integrated enclosure. They should work with many 2020 extrusion based printers. Recommended slicing settings include: * Nozzle: 0.4mm * Layer Height: 0.28mm * Wall Thickness: 1.6mm (or higher, using at least 4 lines) * Top surface skin layers: 40 * Infill: 50% * Infill: Connect infill lines and use a strength-focused pattern like cubic * Support: None Depending on your printer's tuning level or slicer settings, you may need to ream the screw hole with a cordless drill.
