Ender 5 Plus Linear Rail Mod
thingiverse
This is a mash up more than a mix. My Ender 5 Plus has the Micro Swiss NG extruder and hotend so I took the parts from the one this is logged as a remix of and the Kersey Fabrications parts (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3646827). The Y rails go on the outside of the extrusions. I had to replace the bolts that hold the extrusion to the plate as the heads were too big. You'll need to print 2 of the linear rail adapters and 2 of the idler mounts The plates for the Y rail carriages are from this. But what I've done is move the X rail to the front of the extrusion rather than the top and used the Kersey Fabrications plate for the hotend assembly. Because this pushes everything forward, I've also used a re-modelled version of the idler mount at either end of the X rail to stop the belt rubbing on the end of the rails. On the Kersey Fabs one, these are enclosed but on my printer the belt then rubbed on the top so I've opened it. The mount is then attached to the extrusion with a t-nut and the idler is just held in place with an M5 bolt. I haven't bothered putting a nut on as it's secured at the bottom and can't go anywhere. The other thing I had to do was remodel the X stop switch mount so that it all fitted with the Micro Swiss NG. It's a really simple mod to do with only a few parts.
