Ender 5 plus Filament holder
thingiverse
This is a filament roller for Ender 5 plus. It fits using the original creality bracket. The bed will clear this and won't interfere with a tall print. I used the mount from thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3114139 by Skrutt84 to attach to the ender 5 plus original bracket. Material list 1 pc of 5/16 threaded rod 5 1/4" long 2 5/16 lock nuts 4 5/16 washers 2 608zz bearings. Assembling: Use 2 flat washers with a bearing in between on each end. the nut on the front should be flush with the roller. Any extras on the rod should come out the back. Should be tight enough to give you a little drag so it won't be freewheeling when in use. I printed this with PETG with 100% infill, you can use whatever you wish. Use support to the plate for the holder. Be sure you set the horizontal expansion in your slicer to 0.025 for the holder nut. This will make the threads nice and loose to screw in the holder nut. The front cover is a nice finish addition but not necessary to use. Leave it out if you want more clearance between the holder ad the bed. Also make sure your bracket is at 90 degree to the frame. if not, just bend it back a little.
