Ender 5 Plus E3D Hemera Adapter
thingiverse
I used Dan Rock's Ender 3 Mount and modified it to fit my Ender 5 Plus, also incorporating his Cooling Fan Duct design without modifications for the stock cooling fan. The X-Axis Extension is necessary and utilizes existing hardware to mount. Dan's tutorial and parts can be found here: https://e3d-online.dozuki.com/Guide/Hemera+Creality+Ender+3+(CR-10)+Upgrade./107?lang=en For my Hemera conversion, I utilized the stock Ender 5 Plus Thermistor, Heater, and Fans and purchased a longer length stepper motor cable. I used Octoprint's EEPROM to modify E-Steps and PID Tune the stock Thermistor. Parts Required: * 1.5m or longer (preferably) Stepper Motor Cable * 3 M3x8 Screws (Mount Hemera to Adapter) * 2 M3x8 + 2 M3 Nuts (Mount BL Touch) Refer to Dan Rock's Ender 3 E3D Guide for hardware to mount fans. I printed these in PETG at 100% infil for strength. PLA and lower infil will likely work fine, but I haven't tested it yet. Version 1 Known Issues: * Dan Rock's Cooling Duct barely catches on the bed support during homing. In my testing, nothing bad has happened; you just hear it bump into it. * Cable management could be improved.
