Introducing my alternative solution for upgrading the hotend of the Ender 5 Plus, incorporating the Spider Hotend from Creality along with dual 40x40x10 fans.This upgraded version boasts dual fans, an additional fixation point at the rear, compatibility with the original Creality carriage, reduced material usage, directional airflow towards the print area, and enhanced airflow efficiency.Installation Instructions:Upon installation of the hotend, it is important to adjust the BL-touch by lowering it 4mm, as the Spider Hotend extends beyond the standard MK8 hotend. Subsequently, the brackets for the 8mm rods need to be lowered to prevent crashing with the BL-touch. To facilitate this, I designed custom 2020 profile brackets to securely position the original 2020 profile 20mm lower. Additionally, relocating the linear bearings of the z-axis beneath the black profile of the bed is necessary to ensure adequate printing height, given the adjustment to the 8mm rod brackets. Following these modifications, the risk of collisions is eliminated, allowing seamless integration with the original Ender 5 Plus firmware.
