Ender 5 Plus Dial Indicator Mount

Ender 5 Plus Dial Indicator Mount

This is a dial indicator mount for the Creality Ender 5 Plus. I didn't originally make this but I modified an existing one I found on Thingiverse from a Creality CR-10. This is an extremely accurate way of leveling your bed. Using this and a good feeler gauge for setting nozzle height will give you the best possible calibration for your printer. Pick up a cheap dial indicator like this one with a rear mount (to fit this mounting bracket): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HFV25M9/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_DJKZEA5Y0HT8BFTG5WWX Feeler Gauge: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XHXJG31/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_24DBWSF974Y173B0E982?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 To use: Attach your dial indicator to the mount using a 1/4"-20tpi bolt with nut, washer and lock washer (or other similar size metric bolt/nut). I had a 1/4-20 bolt so I used that. Press on to the face of the stock fan assembly on the hot end. Turn on the printer, go to your settings and manually move the print head around the build plate watching the dial indicator and making adjustments on the four corners as needed. This is very quick and easy to use.
