UPDATE 2019-09-16: Airflow in this configuration is too constricting, I'm looking for tornadoes not these weak gusts...I'll try removing every other ring to see if that helps, if it does I'll update the models and deprecate the old ones. ---------------------------------------- This design covers the Ender 5 Plus with two 120mm fans placed over the PSU and mainboard. To assemble this cover you need to remove the lid and fan from the power supply and raise the printer about 25mm higher than usual (I printed some feet for my squash ball and the fan assemblies clear the table by about 1cm). You have two options when it comes to the fans themselves: 1) Run each fan off its respective source via a buck converter 2) Run both fans off the mainboard's vacant case fan header in series Assembly: Use three M3x8 bolts and M3 nuts to attach the two pieces through the three center holes Use eight M4x30 bolts and M4 nuts to bolt the fans and guards to the underside of the cover (raised section facing down) - They'll just fit Unplug the stock case fan from the mainboard and discard/set aside the original control box cover Unbolt the PSU from the control box and use a Philips screwdriver to remove the six screws holding the PSU lid on Remove the PSU lid, unplug the fan from the PSU and discard/set aside the PSU lid and fan Hook your fans up however you decided to wire them Put the cover on the control box and attach it with four M3x6 (corners) and two M3x8 (sides) bolts This mod is super easy, makes your control box pretty much silent, and vastly improves cooling.
