Ender 5 NF-Crazy Plus - DirectDrive, BMG, BLTouch, Dual 5015 Blower Fans Cooling Duct Mounts

<p>This is a custom cooling solution for an NF-Crazy Plus hotend on an Ender 5 Pro.</p><p>The NF-Crazy Plus is a Mosquito clone that is wider than the original Mosquito, but also mounts using the stock Creality mounting solution rather than the Mosquito's. Basically every solution I found didn't have enough space for the width of this hotend. I've remixed a bunch of different ones but decided I'll just make a purpose-built one.</p><p>You could also use this as a bowden setup!</p><p>UPDATE AUG 22, 2022:</p><p>Added a BLTouch mount option that fits the Ender 3 V2 gantry.</p><p>UPDATE NOV 22, 2021:<br>By request, I've added a version that supports the stock Creality/MK8 hotend with a 40mm fan.</p><h3>Details</h3><p><strong>Features</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Hotend and BLTouch both mounts using the original mounting holes on the stock X gantry plate</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Fans:<br>1x 3010 OR 4010 axial fan (hotend)</p><p>2x 5015 blower fans (part cooling)</p><p>DirectDrive:<br>BMG extruder</p><p>Socket cap bolts (length doesn't have to be precise)<br>2x M3x4-5 (BLTouch mount to gantry plate)<br>4x M3x8-10 (Duct mounts)<br>2x M3x14-18 (BLTouch mount)<br>2x M3x20-25 (5015 fans)<br>3x M3x35 (BMG/stepper mount)</p><p>Hex nuts:<br>4x M3 (BLTouch and 5015 fans)</p><p>If using 3010 hotend fan, add 2 more M3x14-18.<br>If using 4010 hotend fan, add 2 M3x12-16 and 2 more M3x8-10.</p><p><strong>Notes</strong></p><p>Some simple cable management can be achieved by running a ziptie through the unused 5015 fan mounting holes.</p><p>You will most likely have to move your X-axis endstop or the fan duct will bump into the Y carriage.</p><p>If the ducts aren't pointing at the nozzle, they're probably on the wrong sides. Facing the hotend, square duct goes right, round duct on left.</p><p>Don't overtighten anything. If it's snug, let it be.</p><p>The 3010 mount goes Hotend &gt; Fan &gt; Base. The 4010 mount goes Hotend &gt; Base &gt; Fan.</p><p>BLTouch offset is X53.9 and Y8.2. My Z offset is 3.45.</p><p><strong>Printing</strong></p><p>Ducts go flat side down, no supports. Brim can be handy.</p><p>Base prints as is, use supports if printing the 3010 one. Can be printed without supports but it comes out messy. The 4010 base can be printed large flat-side down without supports.</p><p>BLTouch mount flat side down, no supports. Easy print.</p><p>Took me two hours to print. Use PETG or ASA for the ducts. Recommend 3-5 perimeters and 25% or more infill.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Category: 3D Printer Parts</p>
