Here is my revised version of linear rails mod. Y-travel 232mm with covers and silent end stop. 12mm x 300mm rails Covers: Use 4 pieces M4x25 + nut Y rail adapter use 8 pieces M5x10 + nut and 8 pieces M3x10 Installation: Remove all rollers on the y travel 8pcs Mount 12mmx300 linear rail including blocks Measure 4.00mm from top of the frame 2020 profile when you tighten them Loosen all 4 corners of belt pulleys Lift the x gantry and slide the y rail adapters in place (with M5 nuts pressed/glued in place) Screw all M5x10 in lightly Align the rail blocks and screw all M3x10 in tight while you press down on the gantry Push the gantry towards you to straighten it and tighten the M5 bolts Lift the back pulleys and tighten them (to give clearance to the belt on the edge of the profile) Do the same in the front while you tighten the belt Mount the corners with the M4x25 + nuts; the stop switch clicks in place inside the cover before mounted. Adjust M4 Z stop about 6mm down Level the bed The covers are my normal cover design. See link below: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3412007 I have made them thicker to give clearance for the raised belt (nozzle is raised 6mm). Stay tuned for the XL version with +20mm travel; you will need a bigger glass bed. If you like my design, feel free to tip me: https://www.paypal.me/Djdenzo
